Many people instinctively choose to place the sofa opposite the TV. However, a good layout does require a bit more planning. Initially, think about where you want to sit. In a large open plan, space… it is also plausible to sit where you have an overview of the  entire room. Ideally, in a small space you want to face a view of the outside garden. Are you an epicure? Then it is entertaining to have your guest face the kitchen from the living room. Don’t be afraid to experiment with moving the furniture around. This way you can ultimately achieve the perfect layout.
